PHP version 5.4 is reaching end of life and will be unsupported from the 14th September 2016. Currently the default PHP version on our servers is 5.4, but this will be changed soon so please ensure your web applications and software is compatible. Users of recent WordPress versions will generally not have any issue, and it will only be a concern if you run custom developed software that may be a little out of date.

You will be able to switch back to PHP 5.4 in the PHP Version Selector which can be applied on a per-domain basis, so customers with multiple websites can choose to run one in one version of PHP and another site in another version as needed. You can select from version 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6, the latter of which will be supported until the end of 2018.
